3 monkeys from The Womens College took a ferry and down to The Three Monkeys at West End. After much exploration and searching for the cafe under the scorching sun, we finally found it and indulged in yummilicious beef lasagne and cakes for tea!!! Enjoyed the breeze on the ferry back to uni and took a nice picture of rays of sunlight...great food and great company...what more can i ask for...thanks girls!

Gold Coast was sooo much fun! Met up with Jolene & Rae...stayed with them for 4 days and 3 nights...feels so great to see peeps from home...i'm missing them already! Adele, Anna, Deb,

Yep...its the day i turn 22! Went for KTV with Jess, Adele, Debroah, Anna, Donald, David, Ying Lang & Ken at this place called "Hong Guan"...near the city...sang till our throats are soooo dry and tired...

Later we went to The Valley for dinner at Cyber City...i seriously love that place to bits! Authentic chinese food! This group of people still have a cake! Our stomache was gonna explode anytime but it was yummy! Sang the birthday song so loud that practically the whole restaurant turned and look...so embarassing..but it was good fun! Oh Oh...they bought a packet of candle that says it has 24 in it but it only had 18 in total...so my cake has only 18 candles...muahahaha...so i'm 18! Forever 18 man...muahahaha

Jess and David bought a carton of 24 bottles of beer after dinner and since its too heavy to carry it back to college, we saw a supermarket trolley along the way and used it to push the better back...hahaha...so funny...as the road was not smooth, it was very noisy...could have woken the whole neighbourhood up and the wheels of the trolley was not in good condition too, so everytime you pushed the trolley it will not be moving straight. Being playful, i decided to sit in the trolley and everytime it hit a bump, it will hurt so much! Hahaha...pushed the trolley through uni to college, hoping that no security will be there to catch us...posing right in the middle of student union to take pictures...can u imagine man! You don't see anyone doing this in Singapore...

David, Donald & Jess came to my room to have drinks and play card games. we played uno between 4 people that could last us up to like an hour per game...freaking long! All thanks to David, who decided to come up with an idea of a power card of "plus 10" and at times we had to draw like 20 cards at a time...with Donald who holds a record of drawing 26 cards...hahaha...played bridge which took me forever to understand...played like guessing name games..."dai di"...the guys left at almost 4 in the morning so Jess & i chatted till like 6 and fell asleep...

Thank you all for celebrating my birthday with me apart from your busy schedule...like Debroah who as assignments to do, Ken who was so tired from working in the day...really appreciate you all for everything! *Hugs*

I tell you...these college girls never fail to brighten up my day! My neighbour and i has the same bday and we celebrated our midnight surprise and snack together! How fun!! Jess came banging on my door at 12 sharp, while Jul knocked on my neighbour's door...dragged us out and we had a cake! Baked my Jojo dearest....my favourite banana cake!! Yummilicious! So many girls in total...i'll let the pics tell it all...

I have many pressies! They seriouusly went all out to get it! How expensive! Thank You!!!!!! Especially to Jan, Jul, Jess, Godfrey, Eve, Adele, Deb, Anna, Oskar, David who got me the country road bag, keds shoes, pretty necklace & sports girl! I simply adore all of it!

Seriously, i am blessed with wonderful friends in Brissie...living in college is not that bad especially when you have these wonderful people who puts a BIG smile on my face! Great friendship is made is college...gonna miss them sooooooo much after i grad next year. At the same time, i miss the people from home...i miss my family, my sis (take care!!!! get well soon), darling ellenmae, miss Jinde, Elicia, Shu Jun, Wan Rou, Anilia, Wynn, Cynthia, Candice, the TP hospi guys, peeps from Pines (Esp the front desk staff), Kevin, Jeslyn, Yiteng, many many many more...i miss u all!

Jess dearie organized a dinner for me with the great company of college girls! Headed off to Thai Palace for dinner at The Ville. The food was great, the company was even better! The girls treated me to dinner...they are Jess, Juliana, Wen Bing, Ploy, Natsuki & Samantha. Love these girls...without them in college, life will be dull!

After dinner, we started playing games in the restuarant and guessing riddles, like "Black Magic, Willy Wonka, the elephant in fridge series of riddles...etc". Then, dearest Jul treated me ice cream...thks sweetie! While walking back to college, Jess started singing camp songs...hahaha...sounded like the radio broke...muahahaha...not forgetting, Jul's idea of taking pictures of people jumping in the air...i jumped sooooo many times and she only took 1 successful pic! Then, Wen Bing decided to use her multi shot function to take pics of Jul & i im the middle of the road with people walking pass...how humiliating...but it was fun!

Overall, i had an enjoyable night! Sorry for being kinda quiet...abit pms ah & went to the gym today so abit tired...I LOVE YOU ALL!!!! THANKS!!!!!! IT MADE MY DAY!

Jess and i headed out to Toowong for lunch. We had laksa and chicken rice. Its not really laksa...more like curry bee hoon and the chicken rice is more like steam chicken with not frangrant rice...but overall its ok, not too bad. Then, we headed to K-Mart and took like a bunch of clothes...Jess bought bedroom slippers and both of us got kids size shorts for 10 bucks each...hahahaha....*click on Jess's blog for pics*...

Met up with Jan and we went to Freestyle, The Valley for dinner. It was super yummy, especially the desserts! After dinner, we decided to head back to college, but we have to take a bus to the city to change to another bus. So, Janice approached this guy while we were waiting at the traffic light and he looked stunned when Jan approached him.

Jan: Execuse me, do you know where is the bustop where we can get a bus to the city?

Guy: Erm, walk straight and turn right.

Jan: Ok, thank you.

Then, the guy walked really quick...we have no idea why. Then, i was jokingly telling Jan that hes afraid of her thats why he walked so quick. Then Jan pretended to walk quick to catch up with him, then suddenly he ran off. Hahahaha...we wonder if he could hear us...hahaha...funny!

On sun, Jess & i headed off to South Bank to catch a movie, Monster House. Its actually not bad and at the start of the movie it actually sounded kinda scary...especially the music. There are like loopholes here and there but its a kid's show, so yeah...the amazing thing is, being a kids show, there was not a single kid in the theatre. Jess was still worried that it may be noisy because of kids screaming and crying...hahaha

Mon...lecture ended like an hour early, so Jess & i went to the city...we walked for a bit, had bubble tea and Jess had a hair cut at Brisbane Hairdressing school, where it only costed her 15 bucks which is super duper cheap compared to the professional salon where it will cost about 40 to 60 bucks just for a hair cut. Even though she only wanted a trim, it took her almost an hour, to have her hair washed, cut and blown. Oh well, its a training school...can't expect much anyway. Bought Beard Papa, a choc fondent cost $3 and the cream puff is $2.50. Its expensive compared to the ones in Singapore.

Its Tue today and i'm bored. I have a lecture at 4 and i'm feeling sleepy now...Dance fest is tonight, its an inter college dance competition. We saw the full dress dance rehersal last night, it was alright. Not sure if we can win, but we just hope for the best.

I'm gonna turn 22 on Sat. Its suppose to be a day of excitement and joy but i dread celebrating my birthday this year. Age is seriously becoming a factor to me here...compared to the rest of the girls here, i'm old! So i gotta act young as per Candice...when i got condemned that my blog skin is too young for me...hahaha...getting older means getting more responsibilities...why is it that i don't get richer every year? I miss the people back home...*sobs*

5 more weeks till uni officially ends and we have to start mugging for the exams.

When Jess told me that SIA has a promotion, where it takes 2 to fly and only 500 bucks(before taxes) per person to Brisbane i told Mr Lim Jinde about it as he has 1 week of leave to clear...but all flights are full! Okay, so i decided to check the promotional rate of 800 bucks (before taxes) for Mr Lim....it accumulated to a total of 1018 bucks with taxes...so even if i pay the extra 308 bucks for him...he would have to live on air till the day he comes...

Hoping for more chances that other airlines will have promotional rates...but the duration is freaking long! Either he has to stop pver at Sydney then to Brisbane, or from Singapore to Perth then to Brisbane...so he waste a day flying...when i thought that the airfare would be cheaper...they are not! How upsetting...

Sigh...nvm...shall wait till Nov then i'll see Mr Lim again...

The girls(Jan, Jo & Jess...yes their names al start with "j") and i went out for a while and had a very yummy dinner at Hanaichi in the city...they have very nice sushi which was very fresh and the company was the best i tell ya! Even though we only went out for awhile, we had loads of fun...especially the photo taking session, where Jo said that we should all take a decent picture as we never took one...hahahaha....

This woman came for lunch today and decided to be a little itchy handed and play with my necklace. Told her that its not elastic so she has to open the necklace to wear it. She happyily said, "Aiyah, my head very small one..." The next thing you knew it, the necklace burst and beads were flying everywhere...hahahaha...

So my dear girl, i'm gonna wait for a my newly revamped necklace with a new string! Hahahaha...so funny! If not you will have to fly back to Chiang Mai to get one for me...bleah!

Now i have an empty space on my wall...hahaha

Went to watch a full half an hour of fireworks today with Jess, Eve, Anna, David, Adele & Godfrey at South Bank...sooooooooo pretty!!!!!! Watching the fireworks made me miss home so much! Jess and i went to the city at around 3 to beat the crowd...we shopped for a bit and the shops are alreadying closing at 5...how irritating! Anyway...when we were walking to South Bank...there were sooooooooooo many people already there at a good spot waiting for the fireworks...we got there at around 6pm, the place was already pack!

When the fireworks started and ended, there were 2 jets that flew pass...with like fire at the tail of the plane...they flew so low with such a loud noise....but sooooooooooo cool!!!!! The fireworks are so pretty...so many designs and some tiny random ones...hahahaa...then the whole bridge had like a waterfall of fireworks! So bright!

When everything ended, South Bank was a mess...with soooo many people...we had to queue so long to buy Cold Rock ice cream...yummy! I had honeycomb and cheesecake flavours mixed together...so good! Then, we walked back to the city for dinner...had chicken laksa...yummy!

Too bad i won't be here next sem for this festival again...i don't wanna be here too...hahaha...if i will be here means i did not do well and i have to repeat...no no no...it will not happen! Will not be here this time next year for studies but for play! Woo hoo!
